I joined the Union of Catholic Mothers in 1966, in my parish, St. Peter’s, Hove.
I represent the Union of Catholic Mothers on the National Council for Lay Associations, a consultative body to the Catholic Bishops of England and Wales, which meets twice a year.
I also report on Ecumenical events and activities involving UCM members.
I chair the Welfare/Study Committee meetings.
I am the Union of Catholic Mothers representative on the National Women Council’s Education Committee.

I have been Arundel and Brighton Diocesan President and Vice–President and before that I was the Diocesan Study Day Officer. At the moment, I am serving as Foundation Secretary and I have been Foundation President twice before.
